Romney: Gaining Voters With Debate Performance

Nobody really know what happened to Obama in the first presidential debate.  Pre-debate, most pundits thought that Barack would win the debate by a landslide.  Not only did he not win, he got pummeld by Mitt Romney.

Now, as I just read the headlines, Romney got a much needed boost from his gutsy, some would say “inspiring” debate performance.

I am an Obama fan but was very disappointed in his debate performance.  He was nearly, literally, asleep at the wheel.

So, of course, Romney is now saying that if Obama can’t even prepare for a debate, how can he be prepared to lead for 4 more years? 

So, let’s take a look at the latest Romney polls and see how he has gained in numbers from the debate:

To Guest Blog or Not to Guest Blog?

I have been searching for ways to promote my Olswell blog and I have come across the idea of guest blogging as a way to promote my site.  The idea of submitting guest posts to other people’s blog to promote your own blog has become the “new thing” in site promotion. 

Well, after reading Copybloggers’ The Essentials of Guest-Blogging Strategy for SEO, Traffic, and Audience-Building, I think I may have decided that “to Guest Blog” will be the answer to my question and that my guest blogging software will be http://ultimateguestblogger.com/.

Guest Blogging Software:  Do You Need It?

If you would like to submit guest blogs on other people’s sites, the process can take an immense amount of time.

How do I know?  I tried it for one month.

Here is what takes place if you guest blog in the traditional manner.  You must first contact a guest blog host and determine if they will accept a post on your topic du-jour.  If they respond, they will respond with a “maybe” but “we need to see your guest post first”.

So, you then write your guest article and they may or may not review it.  Yes, you might not even hear back from them.  Most sites, however, are good at getting back to you.

Often, they will ask for revisions to your post, and then, perhaps, more revisions.  It can literally take one month or more to get your guest post published on another site.

Really?  One month for one link back to my Olswell blog?

There must be another way and, as I discovered, that way is through guest blogging software.

Khloe and Lamar Take Dallas

I admit t being a sucker for Keeping Up With the Kardashians.  Now, I’m addiced to all things Kardashian and so Khloe and Lamar are right there for me to serve my addiction.

Khloe worried that Dallas might not except them. 

However, what they all need to know is that it is about the basketball.  If “Hump” starts playing great b-ball, he’ll be accepted again as will Lamar in Dallas. 

The real question is should these athletes subject themselves to these reality shows?  I think probably not.  What do you think?

 

Randy Moss Coming Back to Football

Ok, in sports news today, it appears that Randy Moss want to come back to football. 

Athletes never quite learn, do they?

I have just been reading some articles about the return of Randy Moss and it is kind of sad.  Athletes clearly need to play for something after “the big show”.

Considering Retirement

There is a little known secret in this world about retirement:  it is easy to be rich in retirement.

People have heard about it but nobody does it because nobody in America thinks about retirement.  It seems boring because maybe it is boring.  We just don’t think long term.

Here it is folks plain and simple. 

Ready?  Because this is easy. 

I will make a moderate assumption that someone averages, throughout their lifetime, a salary of $50,000 a year.  That’s an average throughout your life.  Many of you will average more but some less.  Anyway, the same principles apply. 

All you need to do are two things:  max out your 401k every year AND contribute to a Roth IRA.

Many people wonder Is a Roth IRA a Good Idea and the answer is ABSOLUTELY!  It’s better than the traditional IRA.  So, if you have not done so, learn How To Open A Roth IRA and get started.

If you just do these two things (and nothing else), you my friend will be a millionaire at retirement!

Hi there.  This is the first post to my blog and I am just testing out how things happen to look.
